Words That Matter

(2 Timothy 1:13, CSB)

“Hold on to the pattern of sound teaching that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.”

In the Christian church we use words that have specific meanings that don’t change, due to their special use. These words are important to our understanding of God’s word and to clearly expressing what He says.

GRACE

“Grace” is undeserved and unmerited love. It is God’s love toward us, not because we have been good or otherwise deserved it, but because He is merciful and loving.

What Is Our Mission?

Our mission is that which Jesus gave to the entire Christian Church: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 20:18-20).
